What’s included in the $240 service

A preventative maintenance and safety check, completed in our workshop. A written servicing report is provided.

Safety & mechanical checks

  • Tyre condition check (tread, cracking, damage) and inflation (where pneumatic)

Battery Health & Recovery Service ($180)

  • Full smart charge using workshop-grade charger
  • Battery recovery / desulphation cycle (where applicable)
  • Post-charge rest and stabilisation period
  • Capacity and load testing using diagnostic equipment
  • Assessment of battery performance under load
  • Clear reporting of battery condition (% health where applicable)
  • Recommendations for replacement or continued use

This service provides a more accurate assessment than a standard voltage check and is recommended where battery performance is in question.

Your servicing report will outline the condition on the day, any items addressed, and any recommended next steps (if required).

What’s not included

This helps keep expectations clear and avoids surprises.

  • Replacement parts (tyres, tubes, batteries, bearings, bulbs, etc.)
  • Repair labour beyond minor adjustments
  • Major fault-finding or strip-down diagnosis
  • Water damage or collision damage repairs
  • Firmware updates requiring manufacturer tools (unless explicitly agreed)

If we find an issue: we’ll document it in the servicing report and provide a clear quote before any repair work proceeds.

How it works

  1. Enquire / book — tell us your scooter model, suburb, and whether you need collection.
  2. Service completed — we service the scooter in our workshop (Noosaville or Morayfield). Most services are completed within 3 business days.
  3. Receive your report — we provide a written servicing report with any recommendations.
  4. Optional repairs — if anything needs attention, we’ll quote it clearly (including timeline) before proceeding.

Service area

Our workshops are based in Noosaville and Morayfield. Collection & return is available for $90 within approximately 45 minutes of either store. Outside this area, we can provide a quote and confirm a timeline.

Servicing vs warranty (important)

Servicing and warranty are different. A service is preventative maintenance and safety checks. It is not a warranty claim and does not automatically include repairs or replacement parts.

If you purchased from Kineticare

If we identify a concern that may be warranty-related, we’ll note it in your servicing report and guide you through the next steps. Our warranty process can be found here: Warranty Policy.

If you purchased elsewhere

Warranty claims are generally handled through the original retailer or their authorised repair network. If you’re unsure, we can still service your scooter and provide a report you can share with the original retailer.

Please note: Manufacturer warranties commonly cover faulty parts. Labour, call-out fees, transport, and routine servicing are not usually included unless explicitly stated.

FAQs

How often should I service my mobility scooter?

Most scooters benefit from an annual service. If your scooter is used daily, stored outdoors, or used on rough surfaces, more frequent checks may be recommended.

Can you service a scooter I didn’t buy from Kineticare?

Yes — we can service most mobility scooters. If we find an issue, we’ll document it and can quote repairs where appropriate.

Does a service prevent all breakdowns?

Servicing reduces the risk of breakdown and helps identify issues early, but it can’t prevent all future failures. Some faults only appear under load or over time.

What happens if you find a problem during the service?

We’ll note it in your servicing report and contact you with options and a clear quote (including timeline) before any repair work proceeds.

Do you offer on-site servicing?

On-site servicing is available in limited circumstances and is quoted case-by-case based on location and the type of work required.

What is included in the Battery Health & Recovery Service?

It includes a full smart charge, recovery cycle where applicable, capacity and load testing, and a report outlining battery condition and recommendations. It is more detailed than the basic battery check included in the standard service.

Book or enquire

Send us your scooter model, suburb, and whether you need collection & return. If you have photos or a short video of the issue (if any), include those too.

Prefer to book in-store? Pop into Noosaville or Morayfield and we’ll help you organise the best option.
