Product Overview

The AreaCare® Mattress Extension is a 200 mm long foam mattress extension with a memory foam top layer to provide additional pressure relief under the 'at risk' heel zone. Suitable for use in most standard residential care, hospital and home care beds with sleeping platform extension capabilities. Available in two sizes.

Both models suit any 150 mm high foam mattress. Please make a selection from the dropdown menu above when ordering. This product must be used with a mattress or overlay. Not to be used as a standalone product.

  • Compatibility with Standard Care Beds: Designed to suit most standard care beds with platform extensions, this mattress offers a versatile and convenient bedding solution.
  • Pressure Relief for Heel Zone: Memory foam top layer is designed to provide additional pressure relief under the 'at-risk' heel zone, promoting user comfort and reducing the risk of pressure injuries.
  • Available in Standard Single and King Single Widths: To accommodating different bed sizes.
  • Note on Standalone Use: This mattress is not intended for use as a standalone product. It is designed to extend an existing mattress.
