Cobalt Health Premium Care Foam Mattress

The clinically proven Cobalt Premium Care pressure reducing mattress was developed to provide the highest standards in both pressure care and comfort. Using the very latest combustion modified ether foam technology (CME), this top of the range, high-quality mattress features a castellated foam surface, which sits on a sturdy “U shaped” foam base, which in turn provides users with firm side walls to aid getting into and out of bed.

The pressure reducing, castellated foam zones are smaller in size at the head & foot ends of the mattress in order to maximise pressure re-distribution to the most vulnerable areas, whilst the mattress mid-section features larger castellations, so that the majority of user weight can be managed more efficiently and effectively.

The ultra-soft heel section is tapered to further reduce pressure to the ankles and heels, whilst an alternate cut (left to right) of visco elastic foam provides maximum comfort levels.

The Cobalt Premium Care mattress is available in Single and King Single bed sizes and is ideal for patients who are rated at high to very high risk of developing pressure ulcers. It is suitable for use in hospitals, nursing homes and the community.
