WALKER & WHEELCHAIR

See more and do more, and enjoy your outing without the need to stop. Easily shift between rollator and wheelchair. Just swivel the footrests around, flip over the backrest and adjust the handles. The Gavo means you can walk as far as you like and, when a rest is needed, you can easily switch to wheelchair mode for your mate to steer.

ADJUSTABLE HANDLES

The smart handle design helps the person pushing by giving them more leverage - just use the pull-pin to move them back for wheelchair mode, or more upright for walker mode. The handles are also height adjustable.

COMES WITH BAG AND BACKREST

The stylish PU-leather bag and backrest in included. This synthetic material is lighter, smoother, easier to clean than genuine leather and free from using animal products. Plus you don’t need to assemble this, it arrives ready to go. Other accessories can be added like the cane holder, light, drink holder or seat belt.

What sizes does the Uplivin Gavo come in?

Two sizes, small and regular. The main difference is the seat width: the Gavo Small model features a narrower 40cm wide seat, whereas the Regular Gavo has a 45cm seat width.

What is the paint finish on the frame?

Uplivin have ensured a nice and robust oxidised finish in painted to the frame (crafted with the same process as MacBooks). While it’s pretty hardy, you can also get a colour-matched paint pen
as an accessory to keep it looking sharp.

Does the Uplivin Gavo meet standards for walkers and wheelchairs?

Yes, it has been certified by an international independent testing body, SGS to meet the ISO standard for rollators (11199-2:2005), and manually propelled wheelchairs (7176-8: 2014). These tests and standards have been reviewed and confirmed by Australasia’s leading testing body, NovitaTech. We don’t want to boast, but most other combo walker/wheelchairs do not meet both the standards. So, with that in mind, if you’re looking at other models, check that it meets these walker AND wheelchair standards.
As far as we know, only the Uplivin Gavo and Rollz Motion 2-in-1 walker wheelchairs meet both standards.

The Gavo meets standards for both a walker and a wheelchair. (This and the Rollz Motion series walker wheelchairs are the only ones that do, that we know of).
